Note: Before you begin:

  1. Turn the machine off.
  2. Disconnect the AC adapter.
  3. Remove the main battery.

To remove the DIMM:

  1. Loosen the captive screw on the access panel and lift it off.
  2. Release the latches.
  3. Lift out the DIMM and place it on the ESD mat or a static-sensitive bag.
