Memory installation movie

To remove the battery pack:

1. Turn the computer off or enter hibernation mode.
2. Then, disconnect the AC adapter and all cables from the computer.
3. Close the computer display and turn the computer over.
4. Slide battery latch number one to the unlocked position.
5. While holding spring-loaded latch number two in the unlocked position, slide out the battery pack.

To remove the optional DIMM:

1. Loosen the three captive screws on the access panel, and lift it off.
2. Release the latches, lift out the DIMM.
3. Place it on the ESD mat or a static-sensitive bag.
