ATI SMBus Controller Support for Windows 2000/XP - ThinkPad R51e

• (New) Initial Release. Support for ThinkPad R51e.

Note: This driver can be installed with the ThinkPad Software Installer, or by following the instructions below.

1. Start Windows 2000/XP and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Extract this package onto hard disk drive.
3. Click Start, then click Run.
4. In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\ASMB\SETUP.EXE to install this driver. Click OK to start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
6. Click Finish, then reboot the system.

2. Windows 2000: Click Start, Settings then Control Panel. Double-click the System icon.
   Windows XP: Click Start then click Control Panel. Click Performance and Maintenance and then click the System icon.
   Note: If the Classic View option has been selected, double-click the System icon.
3. Click the Hardware tab.
4. Click the Device Manager button.
5. Double-click System devices.
6. Double-click ATI SMBus
7. Click the Driver tab. The Driver Version will be displayed.

6. Double-click ATI SMBus.
7. Click the Driver tab. The Driver Version will be displayed.
