Installation instructions
  1. Start Windows, logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Extract this package onto the hard drive. The default path is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\HDAMODEM
  3. Click Start, and then click Run.
  4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 3, and then click OK.
  5. Please follow the directions displayed.
    If you see the message "Digital Signature Not Found" appear, please click OK to continue installing.
  6. If needed, restart the system.

Unattended install

This is for system administrators use only.

  1. Start Windows, logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Extract this package onto the hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\HDAMODEM
  3. Click Start and then click Run.
  4. Navigate to the full path of the driver location and specify SETUP.EXE with -S option, and click OK.
    Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\HDAMODEM\SETUP.EXE -S
  5. If needed, restart the system.
Uninstall instructions
  1. Start Windows, logon with administrative privileges
  2. Click Start, and then Control Panel.
  3. In the Control Panel window, double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  4. Select Agere Systems HDA Modem.
  5. Click Change/Remove.
  6. The device driver will be uninstalled automatically.
  7. If needed, restart the system.
