TouchPad driver for Windows XP - 3000 C200, N100 |
This package installs an updated Microsoft Windows XP Synaptics TouchPad driver. The Synaptics TouchPad driver enables or updates the Touchpad function of the Synaptics TouchPad.

Version 8.3.4
- (Fix) The defect that cannot save a setup of TouchPad setting is fixed. The defect that cannot overwrite silent install is fixed.
Version 8.2.1
- Start Windows XP and log on with administrative privileges.
- Extract the Synaptics Touch Pad files to the hard drive. When downloaded file is extracted in the local drive, it is located in C:\DRIVERS\TCHPSY directory by the default.
- Click Start, then click Run.
- In the Open field, type 'C:\DRIVERS\WIN\TCHPSY\SETUP.EXE'. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
- Click OK to start the installation process.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
Note: This is for system administrators' use only.
- Start Windows XP, logon with administrative privileges.
- Extract the drivers to the hard drive.
- Click Start, then click Run.
- Type 'C:\DRIVERS\WIN\TCHPSY\SETUP.EXE -S'
- Start Windows XP, logon with administrative privileges.
- Click Start, then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
- Select Synaptics Pointing Device Driver then click Remove.
- Open the Synaptics Touch Pad control panel and go to "Device Settings". The verison number of the driver is displayed
