• (Fix) The computer may hang if Rescue and Recovery is installed on Windows Vista 64-bit SP1.
• (Fix) PXE time-out is too long was fixed by IBA IBA v1.3.24.

• (Fix) The boot sequence is different from the expected one in case of Wake on LAN(WOL).

• (New) A new entry added in BIOS Setup that switches serial/parallel ports in a docking station enabling/disabling. A disabling will make a ThinkPad free from hang up when an AC power cable is unplugged mistakenly. Disabling will make those ports unusable.

• (Fix) Disabled ATI PowerPlay feature on a model with the ATI M56/M66 graphics chip, to fix M66 model intermittent Windows hang during battery operation. Due to this change, the battery operation time on a model with the ATI M56/M66 graphics chip has decreased.

• (Fix) Some versions of the EMM386 mistakenly write a hard drive's MBR area. It will not boot up after this. (FDISK /MBR may recover it)
• (Fix) Icons on the desktop will be rearranged by a LCD cover close/open action.
  1. This problem occurs only on models with a Intel Graphics Media Accelerator. Machine type is 19xx.
  2. Upgrade the display driver to the latest version to fix this problem.

  Note: Some 15in XGA (1024x768) LCD panels may not display correctly with BIOS version 1.06 or earlier, in this case you should upgrade to version 1.07.

    • You can only type only Uppercase characters. (Some keys seem to keystrokes, because the shift cases are not defined)
    • Multiple selection with cursor keys.
    • Numeric keypad will turn to cursor keys.
