Audio Driver for Windows XP - 3000 V100 |
This package enables or updates the audio function for Microsoft Windows XP users.

- Logon to Windows with administrative privileges.
- Extract this package by double-clicking the downloaded file.
The default extract location is C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\AUDIO
- Click Start, then click Run.
- Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2 above, and click OK.
- The device driver wizard will be launched.
- When prompted, click Next.
- When prompted to restart your system, click Yes and then click Finish.
This procedure is intended for system administrator use only.
- Logon with administrative privileges.
- Extract this package by double-clicking the downloaded file.
The default extract location is C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\AUDIO
- From a command prompt, navigate to the driver location.
- Type "SETUP.EXE -S" and press Enter.
- Logon with administrative privileges.
- Click Start, then click Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel window, click Add or Remove Programs.
- Select Realtek High Definition Audio driver.
- Click Remove.
- When prompted, click Yes.
- When prompted to restart your system, click Yes and then click Finish.
- Right click My Computer, and then click Properties.
- Click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.
- Click the + sign in front of the Sound, video and game controllers category.
- Double-click Realtek High Definition Audio.
- Click the Driver tab, and the driver version will be displayed.
