Installation instructions
  1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
    The default location is C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\WLLANINT.
  3. Click Start, then click Run...
  4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK.
    Example: C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\WLLANINT\SETUP.EXE.
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Unattended install
Note: This procedure is intended for system administrators use only.
  1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
    The default location is C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\WLLANINT.
  3. Click Start, then click Run...
  4. Specify SETUP.EXE /QI with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK.
    Example: C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\WLLANINT\SETUP.EXE /QI

Uninstallation instructions
  1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  3. In the Control Panel window, click Add or Remove Programs.
  4. Select Intel Wireless LAN.
  5. Click Change/Remove.
  6. When prompted, click Yes.
  7. When prompted to restart, click Yes, then click Finish.

Determining which version is installed
  1. Right click My Computer, and then click Properties.
  2. Click the Hardware tab, then click Device Manager.
  3. Expand the Network adapters category.
  4. Double click Intel Wireless LAN.
  5. Click the Driver tab, and the driver version will be displayed.
