  • (Fix) Fixed silent install (ssetup.exe /qn /ru /ri) in audit mode
Installation instructions
  1. Start Windows.
  2. Logon with administrative privileges.
  3. Extract this package onto the hard drive.
    The default location is C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\HDAMODEM
  4. Click Start, then click Run.
  5. Specify SSETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 3, and click OK.
    Example: C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\HDAMODEM\SSETUP.EXE
  6. The device driver will be installed automatically. If the message, "Digital Signature Not Found" appears, click OK to continue installing.
  7. If needed, restart the system.

Unattended install
This is for system administrators use only.
  1. Start Windows.
  2. Logon with administrative privileges.
  3. Extract this package onto the hard drive. The default location is C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\HDAMODEM
  4. Click Start, then click Run.
  5. Specify SSETUP.EXE with -noinfo option with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 3, and click OK.
    Example: C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\HDAMODEM\SSETUP.EXE -noinfo
Uninstall instructions
  1. Start Windows, logon with administrative privileges
  2. Click Start, and then Control Panel.
  3. In the Control Panel window, double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  4. Select Motorola SM56 Data Fax Modem.
  5. Click Change/Remove.
  6. The device driver will be uninstalled automatically.
  7. If needed, restart the system.
