- (Fix) Fixed silent install (ssetup.exe /qn /ru /ri) in audit mode
- Start Windows.
- Logon with administrative privileges.
- Extract this package onto the hard drive.
The default location is C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\HDAMODEM
- Click Start, then click Run.
- Specify SSETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 3, and click OK.
Example: C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\HDAMODEM\SSETUP.EXE
- The device driver will be installed automatically. If the message, "Digital Signature Not Found" appears, click OK to continue installing.
- If needed, restart the system.
This is for system administrators use only.
- Start Windows.

- Click Start, then click Run.
- Specify SSETUP.EXE with -noinfo option with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 3, and click OK.
Example: C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\HDAMODEM\SSETUP.EXE -noinfo
- Start Windows, logon with administrative privileges
- Click Start, and then Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel window, double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Select Motorola SM56 Data Fax Modem.
- Click Change/Remove.
- The device driver will be uninstalled automatically.
- If needed, restart the system.
