• (Fix) This BIOS contains a workaround of resolution change issue. When using an Intel Graphics model on a minidock with an external monitor set to SXGA, the resolution will intermittently be changed in certain docking/undocking situations switch to XGA. (BIOS)

• (Fix) The data transfer rate is extremely slow using IBA(Intel Boot Agent) PXE protocol. (BIOS)

• (Fix) Even if the password was not actually changed under CSS (Client Security Solution), a message showing it being changed may appear and authentication may be failed even by entering the password. (BIOS)

  2100: Initialization error on HDD(Main hard disk drive)
• (Fix) On a system with Windows Vista, the display resolution changes to VGA mode(640x480) after the LCD cover is closed and opened.

• (Fix) "SATA Controller Mode Option" is changed to "Compatibility" when the system boots up without the primary Hard Drive. "SATA Controller Mode Option" is displayed in the BIOS Setup Utility. "Config"->"Serial ATA(SATA)"->"SATA Controller Mode Option" (BIOS)
• (Fix) The SMBIOS structure which represents Modem jack(RJ-11) is not displayed. (BIOS)

  "disabled" after the BIOS was updated or flashed. The option needs to be set to "enabled" if necessary after BIOS update/flash. (BIOS)
  
• (Fix) POST error 1804 may appear at system power on with some types of USB devices. (BIOS)
  
• (Fix) When EMM386.EXE is used at system boot from PC-DOS on a USB memory key, the system may hang or the wrong data may be accessed on the hard drive while reading or writing. (BIOS)

• (New) Maximum Graphics Memory size increases to 224MB. (BIOS)
• (Fix) If the computer is forcibly shut down by special conditions (such like the power button being pressed for seconds or the battery down in suspend mode), the computer may not work after power on. (BIOS)
• (Fix) The computer may be shutdown by a certain 3G GPRS card in the PC card slot. (EC)
• (Fix) Once Active Protection System is disabled, it cannot be enabled again until the system is restarted. (EC)

Version 7BETC3WW (2.04)

• (Fix) Needs to enter a BIOS supervisor password after BIOS update to 7BETB9WW/2.00f or later version from 7BET50WW/1.08(or older version), if the BIOS supervisor password is set at BIOS update. Note that this problem does not occur, once the system booted with BIOS 7BETB9WW or later version. If your X60 runs without problems after installing 7BETC2WW/2.03, no need to update to 7B9ETC3WW/2.04.
