Installation instructions
  1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\Drivers\WIN\WLLANBCM.
  3. Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run...
  4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK. Example: C:\Drivers\WIN\WLLANBCM\SETUP.EXE
  5. Follow the instructions on screen.
    • If the message, "An unidentified program wants access to your computer" appears, click Allow to continue installing.
    • If the message "Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software" appears , click Install this driver software anyway to continue installing.
    • If the message "This program might not have installed correctly" appears , click This program installed correctly to finish installing.
  6. If needed, restart the system.


Unattended install
Note: This is for system administrators use only.
  1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.

  3. Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run...
  4. Specify SETUP.EXE -S with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK. Example: C:\Drivers\WIN\WLLANBCM\SETUP.EXE -S
  5. Follow the instructions on screen.
    • If the message "A program needs your permission to continue" appears , click the Continue to install.
  6. If needed, restart the system.

Uninstall
  1. Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  3. Double-click Programs and Features.
  4. Select "Broadcom 802.11 Network Adapter" and click Uninstall or Change.
  5. If needed, restart the system.
