Installation instructions
  1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Extract this package onto the hard drive.
    The default extraction location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\5IN1
  3. Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run...
  4. Specify StandardInstall.bat with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, then click OK.
    Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\5IN1\StandardInstall.bat
  5. The device driver will be installed. Click Next.
    • If the message, "An unidentified program wants access to your computer" appears, click Allow.
    • If the message "Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software" appears , click Install this driver software anyway.
    • If the message "This program might not have installed correctly" appears, click This program installed correctly.
  6. If needed, restart the system.

Unattended install
This is for system administrators use only.
  1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Extract this package onto the hard drive.
    The default extraction location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\5IN1
  3. Click Start and open a command prompt.
  4. Specify "SilentInstall.bat" with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, then click SilentInstall.bat.
    The default extraction location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\5IN1
  5. The device driver will be installed automatically.
    • If the message "This program might not have installed correctly" appears, click This program installed correctly.
  6. If needed, restart the system.

Uninstall instructions
  1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. With Windows classic, Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  3. Click System, then click Device Manager.
    If the message "Windows needs your permission to continue" appears, click continue.
  4. Right-click the devices under "IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers"
    • Ricoh Memory Stick Host Controller
    • Ricoh MMC Host COntroller
    • Ricoh xD-Picture Card Host Controller
  5. Click Uninstall and enable Delete the driver software for this device. The device driver will be uninstalled automatically.
  6. If needed, restart the system.
