This package is required prior to installing the following Bluetooth driver or higher version:

Note: When you update your Bluetooth device with this firmware, the Bluetooth device must be configured. If the device is not configured or missing, the firmware update program can not detect the device and the firmware update will not work.
- Upgrade Microsoft Windows XP to Windows Vista:
Before upgrading to Windows Vista, update the Bluetooth firmware on Windows XP. Then upgrade the operating system and install the Bluetooth driver.
- Clean install of Windows Vista:
Bluetooth is supported with the in-box Windows Vista drivers. If the Bluetooth device is not configured yet, run "Driver Update" from Device Manager and configure the Bluetooth device. Then run this firmware update. After that, the Bluetooth device driver can be installed.
- Start Windows.
- Logon with administrative privileges.
- Extract this package onto the hard drive.
The default extraction path is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\FWL3BT01
- For Windows Vista: Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run...
For Windows XP: Click Start then click Run...
- Specify FWL3BT01.exe with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 3, and click Ok.
Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\FWL3BT01\FWL3BT01.exe
- If needed, restart the system.
