Version 7IET36WW (1.17)

  • (New) Supports Microsoft Windows 7. (addition)
  • (Fix) Fixed an issue where the computer might not start when a new ThinkPad Hard Drive Bay Adapter was installed in the Docking Station.
  • (Fix) Fixed an issue where PXE time-out was too long when an Ethernet cable was disconnected.

Version 7IET34WW (1.15)

  • (New) Initial release for new video RAM for the M56 and the M66 video chips. Note: New video memory will be found on the system board that will have been replaced by repair actions. Important: On T60p, you can not use BIOS 1.14 or previous because of limitation of the video memory management.
  • (Fix) The computer may hang if Rescue and Recovery is installed on Windows Vista 64-bit SP1.

Version 7IET33WW (1.14)

  • (New) Support new video RAM for the M56 and the M66 video chips. Note: New video memory will be found on the system board that will have been replaced as repair action. On T60p, you can not use BIOS 1.13 or previous because of limitation of the video memory management.
  • (Fix) The boot sequence is different from the expected one in case of Wake on LAN(WOL).
  • (Fix) System hangs while formatting Cardbus ATA drive under Windows Vista 64bit SP1.

Version 7IET32WW (1.13)

  • (New) A new entry added in BIOS Setup that switches serial/parallel ports in a docking station enabling/disabling. A disabling will make a ThinkPad free from hang up when an AC power cable is unplugged mistakenly. Disabling will make those ports unusable.

  • (Fix) Authentication of the fingerprint fails during enumerating a USB device.
  • (New) Support srcmos utility even through supervisor password isn't set in system.

  • (Fix) The data transfer rate is extremely slow using IBA(*) PXE protocol. *:Intel Boot Agent
  • (Fix) Intel integrated video models(model 195x) are permitted to install BIOS 2.14 or previous. These models shouldn't be affected by the new video memory.

  • (New) New video memory supported for the AMD video models(model 200x and 26xx).

  • (Fix) The WWAN device may not work in Windows Vista if the key combination Fn+F5 is pressed during startup.
  • (Fix) The modem port information in the SMBIOS table (type-8) is not correct.
  • (Fix) Improved battery life during DVD playback on systems with ATI M54 video chips.

  • (Important) The computer may stop booting from the hard disk with the following error message in Windows Vista.

  • (New) Support for Windows Vista.
  • (Fix) DOS EMM386.EXE causes system hang or data corruption in USB memory when the DOS operating system boots from the USB memory.
