Applicable countries and regions
Microsoft Windows XP/2000 operating systems do not support Intel Turbo Memory. If you are using Windows XP/2000, there will be a Yellow Exclamation (!) shown in Device Manager. This package is to eliminate the Yellow Exclamation (!) in Device Manager.

The following Systems are supported:

- ThinkPad R61
- ThinkPad Reserve Edition
- ThinkPad R400, R500
- ThinkPad T400, T400s, T500
- ThinkPad T61, T61p
- ThinkPad W500, W700, W700ds

Installation instructions
Clean install
  1. Start Windows XP/2000 and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. (Windows XP)
    Click Start, then click Control Panel. Click Performance and Maintenance, then click System.
    (Windows 2000)
    Click Start, click Settings, then click Control Panel. Double-click System.
  3. Click the Hardware tab.
  4. Click Device Manager.
  5. Right-click PCI Memory Controller, then click Properties.
  6. Click the Driver tab.
  7. Click Update Driver.
  8. Select No, not this time, then click Next.
  9. Select Install from a list or specific location.
  10. Click Next.
  11. Select Search for the best driver in these locations and Include this location in the search.
  12. Click Browse.
  13. Locate the driver folder, then click OK.
  14. Click Next. The driver installation will begin.
  15. Click Finish.
  16. Click Close.
