Note: If the existing version of the Fingerprint Reader software is lower than 5.6, then it is required to upgrade the Fingerprint Reader Software to version 5.6.2 first before upgrading to 5.8.4. This software is not supported on Value Line desktops or Value Line notebooks with integrated fingerprint reader.

System requirements

ThinkVantage Fingerprint Software can be installed on any computer with a free USB port running one of the following operating systems:

  • Microsoft Windows Vista (64-bit)

Administrator rights are required to install or uninstall ThinkVantage Fingerprint Software.

Downloading the package

  2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded files.
