PC Card Director for OS/2 - ThinkPad General |
The PC Card Director is the advanced utility that lets you use PC Cards with "Plug and Play."
This diskette enables or updates the PC Card function of the following ThinkPad computers:
- ThinkPad 345C, 345CS
- ThinkPad 365X, 365XD
- ThinkPad 380, 380D ,380E, 380ED, 380XD, 380Z
- ThinkPad 385D, 385ED, 385XD
- ThinkPad 390, 390E, 390X
- ThinkPad 535, 535E (Japan only)
- ThinkPad 560, 560E, 560X, 560Z
- ThinkPad 600, 600E, 600X
- ThinkPad 760C, 760CD, 760L, 760LD
- ThinkPad 760E, 760ED, 760EL, 760ELD
- ThinkP ad 760XD, 760XL
- ThinkPad 765D, 765L
- ThinkPad 770, 770E, 770ED, 770X, 770Z

Installation Guide
- Start OS/2 2.1 or later. (OS/2 Versions 2.0 and 1.x are not supported).
- Start the OS/2 Full Screen or the OS/2 Window.
- Insert the PC Card Director for OS/2 Diskette into the diskette drive.
- Type A:\PCMINST2 and press Enter.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Restart the system after completing the installation.

How to determine what version is installed
- Run the PC Card Director application.
- Click the Help menu and select About PC Card Director. The Version Number is shown.
NOTE : Some versions may not show correct version number.
National Language Support
Only some drivers will be available in other languages. If you do not see a listing like this for additional languages, then that driver is available in English only. The English driver will work in ALL countries.
