I. Summary of changes

(New) Support ThinkPad R32.

II. Installation instructions
NOTES:

• ThinkPad Software Installer does not support installation or uninstallation of this package.
• If you have a previous version, uninstall it first, then reboot the system.

Uninstalling

1. Start Windows 2000.
2. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
3. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
4. Click Change or Remove programs tab.
5. Click Intel Speed Step Technology Applet in the list.
6. Click the Change/Remove button.
7. Follow instructions and restart Windows.

Installing

1. Start Windows 2000 and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Extract the package to the hard disk drive.
3. Click Start and then click Run.
4. Specify the SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

III. Determining which version is installed

1. Double-click the SpeedStep icon in the systray (a flag icon).
2. Click the Advanced button and the version will be displayed at the top right.
