Symptom
When attaching a Digital Flat Panel Display to the Digital Video Interactive (DVI) Connector on the back of the Dock or Port Replicator, running 1600 x 1200 resolution, video noise appears on the display.

Affected configurations
ThinkPad A30, A30p, A31, A31p and T30 computer systems external DVI Connector.

Solution
Use 1280 x 1024 or lower resolution with the DVI Display.

Additional information
DVI resolution higher than 1280x1024 is not supported on A30, A31, and T30 ThinkPads.
