Beep and no beep symptoms - ThinkPad A2*, T2*

One beep and a blank, unreadable, or flashing LCD
|
- Reseat the LCD connector
- LCD assembly
- External CRT
- System board.
|

One long and two short beeps, and a blank or unreadable LCD
|
- System board

- DIMM.

Two short beeps with error codes POST error.
|
|
|
Two short beeps with blank screen
|
|
| Two or more beeps, or a continuous beep. Operating System starts successfully. |
If a Mini PCI Ethernet card is installed, confirm that Alert On LAN 2 in BIOS Setup Utility is disabled. |

Start the ThinkPad Configuration program and set the Screen expansion function.
