This package provides PC-Doctor for DOS ThinkPad diagnostics.
The following models are supported:
- ThinkPad X40, X41, X41 Tablet

Click here for instructions on how to transfer files greater than 1.44 MB to multiple floppies.
Version 2.0.1602
- (Fix) Optical Drive test returns FAILED when certain types of CD media are inserted.

Note: This procedure requires three blank high density diskettes.
- Make a temporary directory (for instance, C:\Temp) on the hard drive.
- Download all of the files to the temporary directory created in step 1.
- Insert a blank diskette in the floppy disk drive.
- Click Start and then click Run.
- In the Open dialog box, specify the file name with the full path where you stored the file in step 2. (for instance C:\Temp\filename.exe) Then press the Enter key. Follow the instructions to create each diskette.
- Repeat steps 2 through 6 until all diskettes are created, then proceed to Diagnostics procedure to test the system.
- Power off the system.
- Insert the PC-Doctor DOS #147-1 diskette into the diskette drive and power on the system.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
Known limitations:
- Intel Wireless Radio test may return FAILED if the security function is enabled in the access point.
- In the Internal Speaker test, the lower limit of sound frequency is 300 Hz. If the sound frequency is less than 300 Hz, the sound may not be heard.
- Run PC-Doctor DOS.
- Click Quit menu and select About. The Version Number is shown.
Note: This version information does not show minor version. For example, the version 2.0.1602a shows version 2.0.1602.
