- [Important] Fixed performance low issue.
Version 4.100.15.5
- (Important) Fixed the security vulnerability. It could lead to remote execution.
Version 4.80.28.7
- Start Windows XP and log on with administrative privileges.
- Extract the Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver files to the hard disk drive. When downloaded file is extracted in the local drive, it is located in C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLLANBCM directory by the default.
- Click Start, then click Run.
- In the Open field, type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLLANBCM\SETUP.EXE and click OK. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
Note: This is for system administrators' use only.
In the step 4. of the Clean Installation procedure type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLLANBCM\SETUP.EXE -S in the Open box and click OK.
- Click Start and click Control Panel.
- Select Add\Remove Programs.
- Uninstall Broadcom Wireless Lan.
