This package updates the BIOS and Embedded Controller program to fix problems, add new functions, and expand functions.

Note: There are two different BIOS version numbers, one for the Microsoft Windows Vista preloaded systems and one for the Microsoft Windows XP preloaded systems.
Version 3.12
- (New) Update for the 3000 N100 (Windows XP Preload Models) BIOS Ver. 2.06 (61ET37WW) for the following updates.
- (Fix) Fixed USB mouse fail after resuming.
- (New) Support for the Intel T2060&T2350 CPU.
- (Fix) Updated the "IDE HDD" to "SATA HDD" in the BIOS Setup menu.
- (Fix) Fixed Lenovo boot management boot problem.
Version 3.11

Notes:
- Remove the Power-on password prior to updating the BIOS in RDM (Remote Deployment Manager) environment or similar environment.
- You need an AC adapter and a charged battery pack to update the BIOS.
- If your computer is attached to any kind of docking station or port replicator, turn off the computer and detach it before proceeding.
- If a USB Diskette Drive is attached to your computer, turn off the computer and detach it before proceeding.
- Print these instructions or display on another computer.
- Firmly connect the AC adapter to the computer.
- Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
- Save this package onto the hard drive.
- Click Start, then click Run...
- Specify AdRomLdr.exe with the full path name where you extracted this package and click OK.
Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\FLASH\63af08US\AdRomLdr.exe
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
After the update has been completed, the computer will restart automatically. Do the following to make sure the BIOS is updated correctly.
- Turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer.
- While the "To interrupt normal startup, press the LenovoCare button" message is displayed at the lower-left area of the screen, press the F1 key. The BIOS Setup Utility menu will be displayed. If a password prompt appears, type the correct password.
- Verify the BIOS Version.
- Turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer.
- While the "To interrupt normal startup, press Lenovo Care button" message is displayed at the lower-left area of the screen, press the F1 key. The BIOS Setup Utility menu will be displayed. If a password prompt appears, type the correct password.
- Verify the BIOS Version. The BIOS version for the C200 BIOS will be 3.11. The BIOS version for the N100 BIOS will be 2.03.
- Turn off the computer.
