System Requirements:
- Ericsson WWAN
- AT&T 3G Broadband Activated SIM with SMS Capability
- SIM must have MSISDN populated with the Subscriber Phone Number
- Windows XP and Vista 32 bit
- Systems we will support: R400, R500, T400, T500, W500, X200, X200s, X301
- BIOS Update Required
- Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1
Manual Update
- Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges.
- Extract this package onto the hard drive.
- Click Start, and click Run... (Windows XP).
- Type [path]\ ConstantSecureSetup_v1.2.6.exe (where [path] is extract folder)
- Click OK.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
Windows Vista:
- You must be logged on with administrative privileges.
- Click Start button
- Click Control Panel.
- Click Uninstall a program. You will see Uninstall or change a program window.
- Click ConstantSecure Remote Disable
- Click Uninstall/Change.
- Click Continue on User Account Control
- Follow the instructions on the screen
Windows XP
- You must be logged on with administrative privileges.
- Click Start, then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Click ConstantSecure Remote Disable, then click Change/Remove (or Add/Remove).
- Select Remove or OK, then click Next or OK.
- Follow the instructions on the screen

Make sure that both the Access Connectons and Remote Disable user interfaces are closed, while trying to send a lock message to your system from your phone. |

PIN enablement not supported on Remote Disable. User to remove PIN. |
| If Leave WWAN card on when system is off check box is not selected, the BIOS screen is displayed longer. |

| WWAN LED on X301 will not turn on when activated, while system is off or in sleep state. |

| During the setup of this application you may receive the following message; The BIOS settings for ConstantSecure may be disabled or BIOS of your computer is not compatible with ConstantSecure. You will not be able to install ConstantSecure at this time. |
a) Update the supported ConstantSecure Remote Disable BIOS
b) Select Enabled for Remote Disable Module Activation setting under Security => Anti-Theft => ConstantSecure in the BIOS setup.
